PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a fuel cell system by leading hydrogen contained gas mainly composed of hydrogen into a hydrogen storage alloy filling container to separate the hydrogen for purifying and for storage of the hydrogen. SOLUTION: Heat of a raw material gas such as natural gas is exchanged indirectly through a hydrogen storage alloy filing container HSA:A, and the heat generated at purifying and storing of a modified gas is absorbed, and thereafter the gas is led into a modifying unit with the steam, and modified to the gas mainly composed of hydrogen. Since a selector valve S is set so that the modified gas is flowed to the filling container HSA:A, hydrogen of the modified gas is separated for purifying and stored in the filling container HSA:A. On the other hand, hydrogen which has been separated for purifying and stored is discharged from a filling container HSA:B. A switching valve T is set so as to close a flow from the filling container HSA:A. Although heating is necessary at discharging of hydrogen, the exhaust heat for gas from a modifying unit combustion unit is utilized for this. |
