PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certify that an original document was present in a specific storage place on a specific date. SOLUTION: A register terminal 3 preserves the duplication of a document 11 as a content 17. A document presence certifying server 1 obtains the document 11 by a designated URL(uniform resource locator) in response to a request for the registration of presence certification information from the register terminal 3, generates a hash 14 from the registration date and the contents of the document URL and the document 11, registers the link in a registering DB(data base) 13, and communicates the hash URL to the register terminal 3. The register terminal 3 prepares a presence confirmation page including the hash URL, and preserves it in an HTML(hypertext markup language) file 16. A reader terminal 4 which obtains the duplication of a content 17 and the HTML file 16 generates a hash based on the content, the registration date in the presence confirmation page, and the document URL, and compares it with the hash 14 obtained from the document presence certifying server 1 and verifies the presence of the original document. |
