PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic dictionary for operating display different from the display of the other words when a significant word is present in a displayed content. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a character inputting means 11 for inputting a words, word storing means 13 for storing the content of a word inputted by the character inputting means, translation storing means 14 for storing the content of translation corresponding to the inputted word, and display means 16 for displaying those contents. When a significant word stratified and stored according to significance, and stratified according to a stratifying symbol is present among the inputted words, display different from that of the other words is operated. |
