PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute with high certainty an instruction given through communication by starting communication, without notifying the surrounding that is there a communication request, when a communication request comes from other communication devices in a prescribed time zone. SOLUTION: When a telephone set 1 is in a loss mode, it is able to send and receive information, even if a power supply switch 22c is set to OFF in an interval (time zone P) from time T1 to time T2. When it is in the loss mode and in the time zone P, a controlling part 20 immediately commands a sending processing part 14 to send a response signal. That is, it performs automatic receiving. Although communication starts with automatic receiving, a voice of the opposite party device is not outputted from a loud speaker 17. Even when the telephone set 1 is in the loss mode and automatically receives and performs communication, it cannot be distinguished in an outward appearance from a state in which the switch 22c is set to OFF in a normal mode. |
