PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a stereoscopic figure from a planar figure. SOLUTION: A depth figure 120 representing the depth of a stereoscopic figure 200 is generated from a planar source figure 100 first. A pattern which can be discriminated from the internal area of the planar figure 100 is allocated to the internal area of the depth figure 120. Then a composing process for substantially overwriting the planar source figure 100 onto the depth figure 120 is performed to generate the stereoscopic figure 200.
