PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which reduces torque of initial rotation without applying developer or lubricant between a regulator for an amount of hold and a developer carrier. SOLUTION: The developing device has a developer container 18 for storing magnetic toner 14 in it, a turnable developing sleeve 2 extending in the opening of the developer container 18, an elastic blade 3 for regulating an amount of toner held on the developing sleeve 2, and a seal member 17 for sealing the magnetic toner 14 into the developer container 18. In the case, the seal member 17 is disposed between the developing sleeve 2 and elastic blade 3, and also the opening is closed with the seal member 17. |
