PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring close views of a color between a display image and a hard copy image without performing work so-called color equalization by vision. SOLUTION: As an illuminational condition of an environment that a display is set up, a color temp., luminance or illuminance and chromaticity of an objective color related to a certain specified color are detected. From the color temp., the luminance or the illuminance of the objective color related to the specified color, the color temp. of a display color (light source color) becoming the color equalization with the objective color related to the specified color is estimated as a color equalization point 40. By the chromaticity of the estimated color equalization point and color adaptation models by plural color data, as a conversion coefficient for converting an input color image to the color image to be displayed on a display, the coefficient making to coincide the views of the color of a light source color color image with an objective color image is calculated. |
