摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device that can be operated at a relatively low voltage. SOLUTION: A drive device has an electromechanical conversion element 30, that is connected to a drive pulse generation means and is subjected to deflection vibration, and at the same time whose one edge in a deflection direction is fixed to a fixing stand, a rod 25 where one edge in the deflection direction of the electromechanical conversion element is fixed to the other, and a traveling element 20 that is subjected to friction coupling around the rod. The traveling element is moved for the fixing stand through the use of the vibration of the rod due to the deflection vibration of the electromechanical conversion element 30. The electromechanical conversion element 30 is constituted of an elastic plate and a piezoelectric crystal body that is applied to at least one surface of the elastic plate, and the fixing stand and the rod are fixed to the electromechanical conversion element in the elastic plate.
