PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an electronic money(e-money) transaction capable of paying e-money through a communication line and securing reliability. SOLUTION: When dialing operation is executed by an external information processor 8, the processor 8 is connected to a host device through a switch 3 and a MODEM device 4, and when the product number of a product required to be purchased is inputted from the processor 8, information related to e-money information such as the amount of the product is sent from the host device. When a controller 6 is informed of the information, the controller 6 switches the switch 3 to the side of a data processor 5 by a control signal S2 to allow the processor 5 to read out the e-money information of the amount from an IC card 1. The e-money information is sent to the host device through the switch 3, the MODEM device 4 and the communication line 7, and at the end of movement of the e-money information, the controller 6 switches the switch 3 to the side of the processor 8 and controls the MODEM device 4 to disconnect the line 7. |
