PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric drum with sense of playing feeling and playing expression power equivalent to an acoustic drum by using a vibration pickup to transduce the vibration of a mesh head constituted of a hard wire material into electric signals, etc. SOLUTION: The loudspeaker device drum 200 amplifies an electric drum signal DS outputted form an electric drum 100 at an amplifier 201 and drives a speaker 202 by its amplified output to radiate drum sound. A mesh drum head 102 is constituted through the use of a wire net or a mesh body into which wire of hard material is knitted and itself does not have any sound producibilty. The vibration of the mesh drum head 102 is detected by a vibration pickup 104 installed to its body 101 to create electric signals corresponding to the sound of a drum through the use of the vibration of the drum head 102 directly as a sound source. Therefore, as sound changes accordingly when the electric drum 100 is struck with a stick 300 in a changed manner, it is possible to obtain sense of performance as if percussing an acoustic drum. |
