PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generating device and information storage medium which can effectively represent the perspective of a background. SOLUTION: The farthest scene object 50 is shaped specially by being given flanks 54-1 and 54-3 which slant down toward the center line passing the center of an upper end surface 52 to improve the perspective of the background. For images of the flanks 54-1 and 54-3 which slant down, processes for contrast adjustment and defocusing are performed to further improve the perspective. While the descent distance DB of the farthest scene object 50 is made shorter than the descent distance DM of a moving body 20, the farthest scene object 50 is moved down as the moving body 20 descends. Consequently, a player is made to really feel the moving body 20 moving down. |
