PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pager system that notifies of a current position and notifies positively of an object position, so that the problems of a conventional pager system are solved that it cannot inform of a current position and has no means of notifying positively of an object position. SOLUTION: Small areas (an area B group) where an area code is transmitted are formed, in addition to a reception area (area A) for a conventional message or the like. A pager terminal in the area B group receives the area code and displays a corresponding area name. In the case that a specific area name is set beforehand, receiving the area code corresponding to the area name, the pager system informs positively of the arrival to a destination by means of a ring tone or vibration. |
