Painting cabin for motor cars, consisting of a room provided with access doors for service and vehicles, as well as a compressor outside the room to supply air. The compressor is situated at the top part of the room, mounted against one of the sides above the roof and includes pre-filters, a motor, fans and a heat exchanger. The flow capacity of the compressor can be altered by reversing the direction of rotation of the fans. When the airflow is at minimum, the temperature rise is at maximum (by means of burner) for the drying phase. The lighting screens are fitted with a system of wheels that run on guides and can thus be withdrawn through the front, outside the room. The access ramp to the cabin is housed inside, reducing the space occupied in the area where it is installed. <IMAGE>
