The holding device (28) is part of a conveyor plant for a silo container (12). It includes at least one connecting element (48,50,52) for hanging it on a base mounting (16) of the silage container. This element has a holding stirrup to fit at least partly round or over a cross member (26) of the base mounting. The holding device may be suspended from the cross member. The connecting element may be a U-shaped holding stirrup, open at the bottom, to pass over the cross member of the base mounting. It may be possible to push it onto the cross member.
