<p>An improved grounding plate or contact assembly (68) is provided for a photosensitive drum (50) of an image forming apparatus. The arrangement ensures contact between the grounding plate/contact assembly (68) and a contact area (72) disposed on an interior surface (56) of the drum (50) regardless of the rotational orientation of the grounding plate/contact assembly (68) with respect to the drum (50). Preferably, the grounding plate (68) includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced contact members (101-106) and is mounted upon a flange (60) which is inserted into the end of the drum (50).</p> |
