<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method capable of improving electrolytic efficiency by continuously and automatically cleaning prescribed positions of rods for electrical conduction in order to avert the degradation in electrolytic efficiency by the conduction defect of the rods for electrical conduction to be reused, and a cleaning equipment for the rods for electrical conduction executing the same. SOLUTION: In the cleaning method for the rods 4 for electrical conduction for hanging and supporting cathode plates K obtd. by electrolytic refining via ribbons 2, the rods 4 for electrical conduction of the cathode plates K pulled up from an electrolytic cell are transported while these rods are supported by a pair of trackless means 1. The bottom ends of the cathode plates K are lifted in the mid-way of the transporting path 14 thereof to form spacings between the ribbons 2 and the rods 4 for electrical conduction. A cleaning liquid is injected toward these spacings, by which the sections of the rods 4 for electrical conduction corresponding to the inner sides of the ribbons 2 are cleaned.</p> |
