<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flue gas desulfurizer in which light burned magnesia is used as a desulfurizing agent and the cost of equipment can be reduced by simpler constitution. SOLUTION: In a flue gas desulfurizer in which waste gas is introduced into a desulfurization column 20 equipped with liquid absorbent spray nozzle 19 for spraying SO2 liquid absorbent that uses light burned magnesia as a desulfurizing agent subjecting it to be in gas-liquid contact with the liquid absorbent to absorb and remove SO2 in the waste gas, a light burned magnesia powder feeding means for directly blowing light burned magnesia powder into the SO2 liquid absorbent of an liquid absorbent storage part 39 together with an air current and a water supply means are provided.</p> |
