BIODEGRADABLE RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce moldings composed of a biodegradable resin retaining sufficient strength for practical purposes with good moldabillity. SOLUTION: Moldings are composed of a biodegradable resin having a polybutylene succinate based and/or polyethylene adipate based aliphatic polyester and a polylactic acid as the major components at a ratio of the polybutylene succinate based and/or polyethylene adipate based aliphatic polyester component being not less than 50 wt.% and having a structure in which the particles of the polylactic acid portion are dispersed in the aliphatic polyester. Suitably, the particle diameter of the polylactic acid portion is not greater than 9μm. Such moldings can be used as the products of various fields by molding the composition to any desired shape and retain sufficiently high strength and accordingly, in particular can be advantageously applied to slide fasteners and face fasteners.
