PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plate covered with polyolefin in which resistance to hot water in the environment coming into contact with water at high temperature exceeding 85 deg.C, resistance to cathode release and resistance to heat shock are good and corrosionproof performance is excellent by enabling adhesive force between a polyolefin resin layer and steel to be maintained in high adhesive force. SOLUTION: The steel covered with polyolefin is produced by laminating a coating layer consisting of a chromate treatment layer, a primer layer, a modified polyolefin adhesive layer and a polyolefin resin layer in this order on the surface of steel. The following compounds (A), (B) and (C) are essential as the primer layer. The compound (A) is epoxy resin consisting of either one hand of bisphenol A-type epoxy resin or bisphenol F-type epoxy resin of epoxy equivalent 156-epoxy equivalent 280 or consisting of the mixture of both hands. The component (B) is modified polyamine containing a compound shown in a formula as a main component or is both this modified polyamine and ethyltris(aminopropyloxymethyl) methane. The compound (C) is phenol resin of a 7000 weight-average molecular weight. |
