<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EF joint in a divided cylindrical shape where a joint can be divided as similarly as a joint body can be divided, resin entirely coated over the inner surface of the joint body and the outer surface of a pipe, is continuously and consecutively heated so as to be fused, and a conductive electric wire is buried in the inside of the joint body in such a way that the joint body can properly be fused with the pipe. SOLUTION: This electro fusion joint is equipped with a joint body 2 in a cylindrical shape, in which a part of a circumferential wall made out of thermal plastic synthetic resin is divided in the axial direction, and with an exothermic body 4 in a belt shape in which an electric wire coated with insulating material is multicatively folded so as to be formed into a belt shape, the exothermic body 4 is buried in the inner surface of the joint body 2, and when both the divided end parts 13 and 14 of the joint body are spliced, both the end parts pf the exothermic body 4 are spliced so as to be formed into a ring shape.</p> |
