PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric part having imparted marker excellent in reliability and visibility by forming the surface of a ceramic of the electric part having the ceramic comprising a main phase and a low melting point grain boundary phase, and an inner electrode comprising an electric conductor containing Ag or an Ag alloy, into a light tone. SOLUTION: This electric part 1 has a ceramic 2 and an inner electrode 3. The ceramic contains one or more kinds selected from Pb, Bi, Cu and V as constituent elements of subsidiary ingredients forming a grain boundary phase of the ceramic 2, and the electrode 3 contains Ag. The ceramic 2 preferably has a surface 5 with white to yellow tone. The amount of Ag and/or Ag oxide expressed in terms of Ag at the position >=10 μm distant from the periphery part of the inner electrode 3 is preferably <=0.5 wt.% based on the total of metal elements present in the ceramic near to the position, or <=5 wt.% based on the amount of the metal elements in the grain boundary phase. The firing and/or heat treatment is preferably carried out in a nonoxidative atmosphere. |
