COLLISION-SAFETY VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE OF CAB-OVER-ENGINE VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure to absorb the impact to be inputted in a cab of a cab-over-engine truck together with a chassis frame to keep the safety. SOLUTION: A cab-over-engine truck 1 is provided with a cab mount bracket 30 on a forward part of a chassis frame 10, and the cab mount bracket 30 supports a cab floor rail 22 through a torsion bar lever 36. A reinforcement member 24 of the closed section structure is formed on a joined part of a cab floor panel 21 to be fitted to the floor rail 22 with a cab front panel 23. A mount bracket receiving member 25 suspended from the cab front panel 23 is arranged opposite to the cab mount bracket 30. When the cab front panel 23 is deformed backward of the vehicle body by the impact to be inputted in the cab front panel 23, the mount bracket receiving member 25 is allowed to abut on the cab mount bracket 30 to absorb the impact together with the chassis frame 10.
