FIELD: reclaiming of parts with large wear-out, mainly, beaters of hammer mills. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electroslag hard-facing of parts with usage of strictly definite mass of metal. Invention makes it possible to manufacture rebuilt-up parts of same weight, to exclude their subsequent sorting or machining with maximum productivity of process and wide technological capabilities of gear. Gear includes cooled metal mould, weighing mechanism, fixture in the form of rotary turning mechanism hold part, electrode with translation drive and system to discontinue hard- facing. Rotary turning mechanism is fitted with device by means of which part and metal mould are mounted for movement in vertical plane and for action on weighing mechanism. The device can be manufactured in the form of guide. EFFECT: provision for manufacture of rebuilt-up parts with same weight, exclusion of their subsequent sorting or machining. 1 cl, 2 dwg
