Said receive signal is split up into individual sampling values at the receive end and compared with known data symbols in order to determine channel coefficients, individual known data symbols of the receive signal being stored in the receive station. Since less channel coefficients are determined for fast-moving mobile stations, the estimation accuracy for these channel coefficients improves.
