<p>The invention relates to a radial piston pump for the high-pressure supply of fuel in fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, especially a common-rail injection system. Said pump comprises a drive shaft (4) mounted inside a pump housing (2) which is configured eccentrically or in the direction of its circumference has several cam-like raised areas, and preferably several pistons (12) which are arranged radially in relation to the drive shaft (4) in each cylinder chamber (18, 74) and can he moved radially back and forth when the drive shaft (4) is rotated in the cylinder chamber (18, 74).
