PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the on-vehicle telephone set by which the driver can concentrate on driving without diversion of the attention, even when an incoming call comes to the on-vehicle telephone set. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 2a having a notice means of microcomputer control, a driving detection means 3 that detects, that a vehicle is driven, an incoming call detection means 4 that detects the arrival of an incoming call, and a control means 6 that sends a control signal to the portable telephone set 2a are placed on the on-vehicle telephone set 1. In the case that the driving detection means 3 detects that the vehicle is driven and the incoming call detection means 4 detects the arrival of an incoming call, the control means 6 sends a control signal to inactivate the operation of the notice means to the microcomputer in the portable telephone set 2a.
