<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent troubles such as overheating of a portable equipment or a waste of a cell due to that a power supply is carelessly turned on, by a method wherein the movement of a power switch tab for turning a power supply on or off is controlled by a locking handle which is provided to a display part so as to fix the display part and a main body together. SOLUTION: When a power supply switch tab 4 is made to slide in a lateral direction in a state that a display part is kept open, the lever 5a of a power supply switch 5 mounted on a printed wiring board slides interlocking with the switch tab 4 to turn on the power supply switch 5. Then, the display part 2 is closed when the equipment is not in use, the display part 2 is locked in the main body 1 of a portable equipment by a locking handle 3. At this time, the power supply switch tab 4 is located between the ribs 3a of a lock tab 3, so that the power supply switch tab 4 is restrained from moving in a lateral direction. By this setup, when the display part is closed or the portable equipment is in transit, a power supply switch is prevented from being carelessly turned on.</p> |
