PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ink jet recording sheet having excellent fixability and color developability of an oil base ink containing particularly petroleum high boiling point solvent by forming an excellent recording image with the ink. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet obtained by laminating an intermediate layer 2 and an ink receptive layer 3 at least on one side surface of a base material 1, a resin for forming the layer 2 includes a resin to be dissolved or/and swelled by a petroleum high boiling point solvent. The resin to be dissolved or/and swelled by the solvent is a styrene resin, a rubber resin or a mixture of them. And, the rubber resin preferably includes, for example, a styrene-butadiene copolymer resin or polynorbornene. |
