PURPOSE:To obtain a highly antistatic cloth effective for preventing electric shock by bonding a mixture of electrically conductive short fibers having specific fiber length to the back surface of a cloth containing electrically conductive fibers with a binder. CONSTITUTION:An extremely highly antistatic cloth effective for preventing electric shock of human body can be produced by bonding a mixture of electrically conductive short fibers preferably composed of 1-80wt.% of fibers having fiber length of >0.7mm and 20-99wt.% of fibers having fiber length of <=0.7mm with a binder such as a polyacrylic ester to the back surface of a cloth of e.g. a covering doubled yarn made of electrically conductive fiber containing electrically conductive fine powder layer such as carbon black exposed to a part of the surface of a synthetic fiber. The cloth is useful as an interior materials for vehicle and room. |
