<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor whose power is saved and cost is reduced on the information processor where the peripheral equipments of a central processing unit, a main storage device, a display device and an input device are integrated. SOLUTION: Inner power switches 2, 3 and 4 turning on/off power are provided for respective groups of the central processing unit 5, the main storage device 6, MODEM 7, the display device 8 and a keyboard 9, which are grouped. An inner power switch control part 1 selects the connection state of the inner power switches. Thus, the power switch state corresponding to a purpose can be selected. When information is transmitted/received to/from outside, for example, only the inner power switches 2 and 4 are turned on and the inner power switch 3 is turned off. Thus, the power for the unnecessary functions of display and keyboard input can be turned off.</p> |
