PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve regenerative efficiency of decelerating energy and driveability. SOLUTION: The crank shaft of an engine 1 as a prime mover is connected to the rotating shaft of a motor 2, as another prime mover cum a generator, and the rotating shaft of the motor 2 is connected to the drive wheels 6 of a vehicle. The vehicle is driven by the drive force of at least either one of the engine 1 and the motor 2, and energy is regenerated by making the motor 2 function as the generator when the vehicle slows down. A control device 11 disengages a clutch 7, which selectively disconnects the output shaft of the engine 1 from the drive wheels 6, when the vehicle slows down. It also controls the motor 2 in such a way as to generate a load corresponding to the engine brake. |
