PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a backup type switching power supply which is capable of surely operating a push current control circuit through utilization of a circuit for controlling harmonic current. SOLUTION: A PFC converter 11 switches a rectified output of a rectifying circuit 10 and flows a pseudo-sine wave current to the side of an AC power supply (e). A drive circuit 13 of a rush current control circuit 12 includes a coil 130 coupled inductively with a choke coil 112 of the PFC converter and drives a 3-terminal switch element 121 of the rush current control circuit 12, by utilizing a voltage induced on the coil 130. A smoothing capacitor 14 is connected to the later stage of the PFC converter 11. |
