PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which is excellent in assembling performance of the connector and has high positional accuracy of terminal parts of contacts. SOLUTION: A connector has an insulator 2, plural contacts 3 arranged in the insulator 2 and a locator 10 installed in the insulator by arranging terminal parts 32 of the plural contacts 3. In this case, the locator 10 is divided into a first locator plate 5 having plural first inserting holes to insert the terminal parts 32 of the plural contacts 3 and a second locator plate 6 having plural second inserting holes to insert the terminal parts 32 of the plural contacts 3 inserted into the plural first inserting holes, and when both locator plates 5 and 6 are installed in the insulator 2 by superposing the first locator plate 5 on the second locator plate 6, the first inserting holes and the second inserting holes are dislocated in the contact arranging direction (x).
