PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal deflection circuit capable of obtaining linearity characteristics, without being affected by dispersions of components and temperature drifts in a wide display frequency range. SOLUTION: In order to correct the dispersions of the inductance of a linearity coil 4, a control part 7 adjusts a voltage applied to a control coil 2, so as to be a value obtained by a curve (t) based on a horizontal frequency fh and on the inductance value of the linearity coil 4 detected in a detection part 5. Thus, when the voltage applied to the control coil 2 is changed to change, a current flowing through the coil changes, a current flowing through the linearity coil 4 changes through electromagnetic induction, and the inductance is changed as well. The temperature of the linearity coil 4 is also detected in the detection part 5 and the control part 7 adjusts the voltage of the control coil 2 from a temperature drift correction value of the curves t1 and t2 or the like. |
