PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller with a built-in control program with which power consumption is reduced while preventing processing speed reduction. SOLUTION: A control program is stored over both plural memory banks 7223 and 7224 of a program memory. The number of address bits in the respective memory bands 7223 and 7224 is made less than the number of data bits in an internal data bus 7222a of a CPU 72222 and the required memory capacity of the entire control program exceeds the storage capacity of one memory bank. The control program is divided into a less frequently used program (program memory access of less than 10%) for a program of low use frequency or for a program with different use time or a check program, and a frequently used program of high use frequency, and both programs are stored in different memory banks. |
