The invention concerns a substrate provided with at least part of a system for identifying objects without contact, comprising at least an electronic device for receiving and transmitting magnetic waves coupled with an electronic module for processing the received signals and re-transmitting others. The invention is characterised in that the substrate is based on cellulose fibres and the electronic device is inserted in said substrate. The invention also concerns a method for making such a substrate.
