PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner recovering device whose rotational load added to a spiral carrying body by recovered toner is always maintained to be proper. SOLUTION: The spiral carrying body 172 is rotated and driven so as to carry the recovered toner from the side of a toner recovery port 25 to an opposite side at the inside of a container 171 by a rotating movement. A spiral part is not formed in a range separated by a distance (d) from an end part in a carrying direction at the spiral carrying body 172. To put it more concretely, the spiral carrying body 172 does not possess the spiral part in the range from a side end part in the carrying direction to the vicinity of the projection area of a fullness detecting device 30. Namely, the spiral part of the spiral carrying body 172 is formed only from the projection area to the side of the toner recovery port 25 including the projection area of the detecting device 30 in an operation state. |
