<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electronic equipment from being large in size even when a large display device is used by folding a heat seal to the rear surface side of the display device. SOLUTION: A display part 1a formed of a transparent member is provided at the part of an upper case 1 which faces an LCD 5 and the display screen of the LCD 5 can be observed from outside the electronic equipment 9. The heat seal 6 extended from the flank of the LCD 5 is folded to the reverse side of the LCD 5 and the connection end part of the heat seal 6 is connected to the reverse surface of a printed board. A step part 2b which is shorter than a projection part 2a is provided at the part of a lower case 2 which faces the heat seal 6. Then a heat seal storage part 2c is constituted which prevents the heat seal 5 folded to the reverse side of the LCD 5 from interferring with the lower case 2. Consequently, the space which was used to store the heat seal can be used to store the LCD 5, so a larger LCD 5 can be used without making the electronic equipment 9 large in size.</p> |
