<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an optimum graphical user interface in accordance with various users by providing a data describing engine between the graphical user interface(GUI) and an audio/video storage device. SOLUTION: The display of a GUI 705 which visualizes audio/video data to display them is generated by a data describing engine 710 that is accessibly connected to an A/V filing device 715 which stores the data. The engine 710 accesses the device 715 and a display generator 720 displays a GUI that is selected by user or is suitable for the user on the GUI 705. A menu configuring device 725 displays a characteristic, etc., that can be selected by the user on the GUI 705 and an operation engine 730 controls an edit system in response to a user's operation. Consequently, it is possible to obtain the display of the GUI 705 which is optimum to various kinds of users and is easy for them to be familiar with.</p> |
