PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card edge connector which has the small mounting area in a small type and can minimize a dimension of a acceptance part of a circuit board to be accepted. SOLUTION: A card edge connector 10 has a contact 50 to constitute a lower side row in a circuit board receiving recessed part 21 and a contact 90 to constitute an upper side row. The contact 50 has a press-in beam 55, and is fixed to a housing 20 by pressing in the beam 55 from the bottom surface 23 side of the housing 20. The beam 55 is pressed in the housing 20 in the rear of the circuit board receiving recessed part 21. An elastic arm 52 to contact with a circuit board received in the circuit board receiving recessed part 21 extends from the beam 55.
