PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communication with communication terminal equipment on the opposite sided through a public/leased line connection only by inputting the telephone number of a party by sending prescribed information by originating a call to the trunk circuit network of a leased line connected between public networks by off-hook. SOLUTION: A call is originated from FAX equipment 20 connected to a public telephone network L to the trunk circuit network of a plurality of leased lines of providers connected between public telephone networks by performing call origination preparing before the input of a telephone number such as hand set(HS) off-hook operation or off-hook switch(SW) pressing, and information required for processing the originated call is automatically sent out. Therefore, any complicated operation is not required and it is possible to communicate with the FAX equipment on the opposite side through the public/leased line connection only by inputting the number of the party. Thus, since the trunk circuit network dedicated to providers is automatically searched, operation is made extremely simple. Further, since the trunk circuit network of provider- leased lines can be connected by the off-hook operation of conventional call origination preparation, any special operation is not required.
