PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce the same information recording medium in accordance with the capability of the reproducing device by making a reproducing device which has reproduction capability of both video information and audio information reproduce based on 1st reproduction control information and making a reproducing device which has reproduction capability only of audio information reproduce based on 2nd reproduction control information. SOLUTION: When an audio DVD player reproduces plural audio titles which are described on an AMGI 29 in an AMG 202, it refers to an AOTT search pointer table in the AMGI, acquires a corresponding APGCI and reproduces a designated audio pack in a VOB 10 according to it. When a video DVD player reproduces plural video titles that are described on a VMGI 21 in a VMG 2, it refers to a TT search pointer table 214 of the VMGI 21, jumps to a VTSI 11 that is its designation destination and reproduces a cell in the VOB 10 according to an acquired PGCI.
