A color photographic silver halide (AgX) material has a base and light-sensitive AgX emulsion layer(s) associated with polymeric cyan coupler(s) with a polymerized unit, derived from a 4-acylamino-3-hydroxy-styrene or -allylbenzene, of formula (I).
