摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover a hexafluoropropylene dimer in a method for producing the hexafluoropropylene dimer using acetonitrile as a reaction solvent. SOLUTION: A reaction product substantially containing acetonitrile and a hexafluoropropylene dimer formed by a reaction is subjected to liquid-liquid separation to give a hexafluoropropylene dimer phase containing acetonitrile, which is subjected to distillation operation to distill an azeotropic composition substantially comprising acetonitrile and the hexafluoropropylene dimer. Then, a distillate comprising the hexafluoropropylene dimer containing substantially no acetonitrile is obtained.
