ALUMINA CEMENT AND MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain alumina cement that ensures unprecedented flowability, stable hardening property and improved strength exhibiting property and to obtain monolithic refractories using the alumina cement. SOLUTION: The alumina cement contains clinker of <=6 μm average particle diameter based on the mineral compsn. CaO.Al2 O3 and α-A2 O3 of <=6 μm average particle diameter. The alumina cement is obtd. by mixing and comminuting clinker based on the mineral compsn. CaO.Al2 O3 and α-Al2 O3 , and has <=6 μm average particle diameter. The objective monolithic refractories contain the alumina cement and refractory aggregate.
