<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of noise and impact by slowly raising a push-up plate while urging it by a push-up spring at the time of releasing engagement of the push-up plate on a paper feeding tray to store sheets in large quantity. SOLUTION: A sheet storage part of a paper feeding tray 20 engages and holds a push-up plate 26 by a fixing means at a position where the push-up plate 26 is lowered by arranging the push-up plate 26 to be urged by a push-up spring from a lower part. A head end projection member 27 to be projected from an opening part 25 provided in front of a frame is provided on a head end part of the push-up plate 26, and the push-up plate 26 is prevented from rising suddenly even when engagement of the push-up plate 26 is released in the middle of installing the tray 20 on a paper feeding part by guiding the head end projection member 27 along a guide member projected to the inside of the frame of the paper feeding part.</p> |
