PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a foam integral with a skin with an open cell foam by disposing at least a part of a skin material on an inner wall of a mold, freely foaming a liquid-like foamable mixture while opening the mold, then closing the mold and pressure molding it. SOLUTION: A skin material 37 made of a ceiling skin portion 35 and a side skin part 36 stitched to an outer periphery of the portion 35 is used. The portion 35 is disposed on a lower surface of an inner wall of a lower mold 21, and the portion 36 is disposed to be located out of the mold. An inner mold 22 is closed and retained. A liquid-like foamable mixture is cast in the mold 22. This is immediately chemically reacted, and abruptly expanded in its volume while foaming. At this time, an upper mold 23 remains opening. Foam P is volumetrically expanded to a maximum limit by free foaming to be a raised state P' from the opening. Partial foam cell is broken at its membrane by a reaction gas pressure to foam open cell foam. After a polymerization curing is completed, a foam molding having gas permeability and integral with the skin material can be formed. |
