PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen burden on a nurse or other by providing outward belts each having hooking pieces such as Velcro fasteners, at four corners of a nearly square flat cloth made of strong fibers and providing subsidiary hooking pieces onto which the hooking pieces are hooked, at the sides of a bed. SOLUTION: A nearly square flat cloth 1 is formed of strong fibers or a synthetic material. The length L1 in the width direction of the cloth is made nearly equal to the width of a bed. The longitudinal length L2 is adapted to the distance from the shoulder to the waist of a patient. Belts 2 are provided outward from four corners, their length L3 is one that allows their extreme ends to be positioned below the sides of the bed. The width L4 of the belts 2 is preferably made wide. Hooking pieces 3 such as Velcro fasteners are provided at the extreme ends and the rear sides of the belts 2, and hooked onto the subsidiary hooking pieces at the sides of the bed. By removing the hooking pieces 3 on one side of the bed 2 from the subsidiary hooking piece, and changing the direction of the patient and engaging the removed hooking piece 3 with the subsidiary hooking pieces on the other side, the patient can be lied on his side easily. |
