<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make automatic correction of the wear of a lining or pad of each wheel by a device furnished on a brake master cylinder. SOLUTION: A brake master cylinder is equipped with a correcting cylinder 43 fitted with a piston for correction, a pushing part 7 interlocking with the motions of a booster rod 4, and a spring and stopper 8, and when the pushing part 7 receives no force from the booster rod 4, the part 7 is stopped separated from the correcting piston 9 or a contact part to move it. Holes are provided in a cylinder chamber whose volume increases with displacement of the correcting piston, wherein the first hole is led to a reserver 22 via a check valve while the other hole is led to the front cylinder chamber of a brake pressure generating piston. The correcting piston is in contact with the spring and the pushing part. Piston is furnished at the other end leading to the pushing part in such a way as striding the stopper part 8, and hole is bored in an appropriate position on the piston side from the stopper in the cylinder chamber formed by this piston and the correcting piston.</p> |
