<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install or remove a handrail by attaching an upper furring strip to a height almost equal to the top face of an adjacent post and by attaching a handrail to the top end of the post astride a strut provided to the top end of the post in a detachable manner. SOLUTION: An upper furring strip 2 and a lower furring strip 3 are connected between adjacent posts 1, 1, vertical members 4 are fixed to the right and left end portions, and a lattice grid 5 is attached. Top face of the post 1 is almost the same in height as the top face of the upper furring strip 2. For the handrail strut 6, a rise portion and handrail attaching portion are provided at the upper portion of the post attaching portion, a recessed portion is provided for fitting the outer face of the post 1 on the bottom face of the post attaching portion, and a plurality of projected pieces contacting to the inner surface of the post 1 is provided in the recessed portion. A handrail attaching portion is fitted to the upper portion of the post 1 and attached by screwing bolt. The handrail 7 is made from a long-sized material and is attached by screwing a bolt from a transparent hole at the handrail attaching portion of the handrail strut 6 to a bottom board of the handrail 7. In this way, the hand rail 7 can be removed together with the handrail strut 6, and thus the fence with the handrail can be easily utilized also as an ordinary fence.</p> |
